CFLP Solid Waste District
About the CFLP Solid Waste District
Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency (LFCAA) Recycling & Litter Prevention is a part of Coshocton, Fairfield, Licking and Perry (CFLP) Solid Waste District. CFLP Solid Waste District is a government agency that oversees how solid waste is managed in its member counties & provides funding.
Objectives of our solid waste plan are the following:
Provide recycling opportunities to at least 90% of the district population through direct provisions of recycling services in each county & through private efforts of local government and recyclers.
Use all available facilities within and out of the district.
Provide educational and technical assistance to all sectors to reduce waste and increase recycling.
Manage hard-to dispose of materials through private sectors when possible & encourage residents to purchase items that can adequately be disposed of or recycled.
Encourage the purchase of recycled content products & support new markets for recyclable materials.
